STEPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL MEDIATION

1) Confidential Meetings

Parties may meet with the mediator together, or each have time alone with the mediator. Sometimes both! The mediation process is especially effective in situations where the parties have an ongoing relationship.

2) Exploring Options for a Solution

After the mediator clarifies the issues from each person’s perspective, the mediator helps the parties identify options and brainstorm potential action steps.

3) Creating a Plan

Ideally, parties will conclude a mediation with a mutually agreed upon plan. That plan will provide the best path out of the current conflict and create guidelines for the parties to avoid conflict in the future.

We provide an opportunity for work teams to improve communication and productivity by participating in guided conversations.
